The company was founded by a couple from Ariège who created SAMBUC®, a unique and original floral and fruity beverage made from elderflowers, produced locally and whose expertise has been passed down ever since.

In 2013, Annie CABON took over, diversified the products and obtained Ecocert organic certification, thereby increasing its popularity and quality among wine merchants, restaurateurs and organic shops beyond Ariège and Occitanie.

In 2023, Ghislaine DECOMBLE took over the business, having been won over by this expertise during a wild elderflower picking session. With the support of Annie CABON, she aspires to perpetuate and promote this local tradition to a wider audience.

Recipe testing, design work, national representation, etc. There is no shortage of projects, while maintaining quality.

I fell in love with Sambuc® during a day spent harvesting elderflowers, and I did everything I could to take over this artisan business.
Creating a product from start to finish, mastering the entire process, and feeling passionate about a product that has meaning: that’s what guided my career change.
Coming from a marketing background in the Toulouse region, nothing predestined me to take over an artisanal business.
And yet, after Covid-19, a child and a skills assessment, it was this business that was keeping me awake at night!
Two years of preparation for the takeover, but also of coordinating my professional and personal life, culminated in July 2023 with the purchase of the business.
The result: no regrets, just plans for the future!
