Creation
The company was founded by an Ariège couple and created SAMBUC®, a unique and original floral and fruity brew made from locally-produced elderflower. And whose know-how has been passed on for almost 30 years.
Upgrading
In 2013, Annie CABON took over, diversified the products and obtained the BIO Ecocert certification, thus increasing its popularity among wine merchants, restaurants and organic stores, beyond Ariège and Occitanie.
Takeover
In 2023, Ghislaine DECOMBLE took over the company, seduced by this know-how during a wild elderflower picking. Supported by Annie CABON, it aims to perpetuate and make known this local tradition to a wider audience.
Recipe testing, design work, national representation, etc. There’s no shortage of projects to keep up the quality.

Fell in love with Sambuc® during a day of picking elderflower; I did everything possible to take over this artisanal business.
Making a product from A to Z, mastering the entire chain, vibrating for a product that makes sense: this is what guided my professional conversion.
After marketing on the Toulouse region, nothing predestined me to take over a craft business.
And yet: a Covid-19, a child and a skill check later, it was this company that gave me insomnia!
Two years of preparation for the takeover, but also coordination pro/personal life and the completion of this work in July 2023 when the business unit was bought out
Conclusion: no regrets, just plans!
